Springing Forward
It has taken longer than usual to get used to daylight savings time. It is still dark in the morning when I wake up, and losing an hour of sleep is not as easy to take. I'm glad we were out of town last weekend so I did not have the same routine to follow.
Speaking for springing forward, what a great slogan for moving ahead with something new or renewed in our lives. The word "spring" conjures up the image of propelling ahead at a rapid pace, jumping over obstacles, not a slow progression but a very fast one. And "forward" implies moving in the right direction, ahead rather than sideways or backwards, advancing rather than retreating. All in all "spring forward" is a good catch phrase for moving us from where we are to where we want to be.
So let's all spring forward to something new and worthwhile this time of year!
