Stained Glass Panel (mine)

Last month I blogged (is that a verb now?) about my new hobby of working with stained glass. Since then I have done a few projects and wanted to share my latest with you. Here is a picture of a stained glass panel that I just finished. It will hang in our kitchen window and catch as much of the sun as possible.

I "borrowed" the concept from an online picture by an artist, and designed this piece myself with that concept as the basis. That was a big step forward for me, and maybe even qualifies me as an artist in training!

I learned a lot from my first few projects, mostly what not to do, which made this one much easier and higher quality. I am still learning, but am much more confident than before.
