Lessons From Panama

In the February eZine, I relate one learning that I had from my recent trip to Panama. Here is another one I wanted to share with you. I think we are all meant to travel to far away places and to see and experience things that we would not see if we stayed at home. Nearly always we have to get out of some zone of comfort to travel, whether it is reserving accommodations, planning itineraries, physically being moved from location to location, speaking a different language, or learning new food and culture.

I also think it is important to know that any discomfort we feel in the travel process is important to recognize and analyze. Lots of times those discomforts make us more appreciative.

All those discomforts are good for us in the long run. And we are in this for the long run.

So next time you have the opportunity to travel, take it! And appreciate any discomforts you feel along the way.

Peace.
