My Favorite Things

Of course you remember the song from that movie. Julie Andrews sings it incredibly well. Raindrops on roses, and whiskers on kittens. I'm not sure those would be on my faves list, but it is the thought of having favorites that matters, not what they are necessarily. I think it is funny (not ha ha funny, but the other kind of funny) that we are told sometimes that we should not play favorites, when in reality it is very natural to have favorites. They really do define us as individuals.
