On Being Kind to Strangers

In the newest edition of the Voyage of Your Life eZine, I challenge all of us to find ways to show kindness to strangers. The preferred method is to do so without expecting to receive anything in return. There are lots of ways to do this, I list a few in the eZine. You can certainly use this blog to keep a running tally of the ways you thought of to show kindness.

The expressions of kindness don't have to be huge either. Today I engaged my left turn signal well in advance of the place I needed to stop, so that the person behind me had plenty of time to move into the right lane to go past me.

And just because this month's focus is on being kinder, next month will not be about being gentler!

If you are not a subscriber and want to get onto the list for the monthly eZine, follow this link: http://www.fullsailcoaching.com/ezinesubscribe.html I will make sure you get the current issue as well.
thanks for reading!

Today I was on my way to a lunch meeting, trying to think of a way to be kind to strangers. And I decided that I would pray for someone who needed help, who I did not know. But would I decide which one? It came to me that I would be alerted by a siren.

So as I was driving along Gaskins Road, the I figured out that I would pray for the stranger involved whenever I heard a siren go off. (here's where the chills come!) Less than a minute later, I heard a siren! A fire truck came through my intersection blowing his horn and siren wailing. I prayed that whoever needed help would find it. That was today's hopefully not so random act of kindness.
